Matthew joined Kayne Law Group in 2026 and focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters. Prior to joining KLG, Matthew managed his own business providing business and real estate consulting services to small businesses in Central Ohio. Before (and during) law school, he worked as an advertising consultant and project manager at Columbus Business First. At CBF, Matthew realized the value of building/maintaining strong relationships and clear, consistent communication.

Matthew views himself as an extension of his client’s team and is driven by a motto learned while working in minor league sports: “Make every interaction count.” He is an active member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association and is always looking for a way to develop new relationships.

Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with friends and family, improving his golf game, and watching any sport or stand-up comedy set he can find. An amateur foodie, he’s constantly in search of the best sour gummies and fried cheese that Columbus has to offer. His home is often filled with foster kittens, and there isn’t a dog he won’t pet. On a perfect day, Matthew is on a boat with good music and good people.
